Pilot Update
The Pedagogical Framework and Learning Portfolio materials are currently being piloted at a number of our academies around the country. These materials provide a structured framework for evidencing and developing teachers’ performance so as to enable their teaching to become good or outstanding. In particular, the Learning Portfolio asks the question: ‘How has my teaching enabled learning to occur?’ More information relating to individual teacher performance will be announced shortly, once the first Best in Everyone Teaching Marks have been awarded. The academies currently involved in the pilot study are Accrington Academy, North Oxfordshire Academy, Sheffield Springs Academy, Stockport Academy and Swindon Academy.
