The Development of Internet Safety Policy in Education
This assignment looks at how e-safety has become a focus within the Ofsted Self Evaluation Framework (SEF) and a focus for Government and the impact it has had on the Trust.It will look at the imperatives coming out of the change of Government in 1997 and the impact it had on schools over the next 6 years as they took on board the rapidly changing technological environment. In the final section it will look a the impact of the Byron Review, commissioned by the new Prime Minister in 2007, and its impact on the education in general and the Trust in particular.
