Behaviour Management Training and Action Research Day

The inaugural ULRI Behaviour for Learning Action Research
Conference will take place at Manchester Academy on Friday July 2nd
2010. The conference will be the start of a programme of ongoing action
research related to the use of behaviour management strategies within
the classroom. Those teachers wishing to participate in the day must
also realise that they will be signing up to an ongoing period of action
research that will last for at least one term within school.
Those nominated for the Action Research Conference may include classroom
teachers, subject leaders, senior leaders, Heads or Principals. The
Action Research project can accommodate 70 people and a request for
attendance will be sent out to Heads and Principals at the start of
January 2010.
The ULRI Behaviour for Learning Action Research Conference will be lead
by Jason Bangbala. Jason is a leading Educational Consultant, delivering
his unique style of training to organisations across the UK. As well as
training courses and consultancy work, he continues to be an active
classroom practitioner. His core areas of training are Behaviour
Management, Circle Time, Coaching and Structured Play. His training
programmes are tailored to reach a wide range of staff in education. He
has delivered training at Headteacher and Deputy Head Conferences, LEA
AST and NQT programmes, sessions for Learning Support staff, Learning
Mentors, Lunchtime Organisers and non-teaching staff, PGCE Students and
GTP trainees and college tutors. His training also ranges to HM Prisons
for Juveniles, Young Offenders and adults.
Before setting up his own training and consultancy business Jason was a
highly successful classroom teacher and Senior Manager in Secondary
Education. His teaching experience has been based on working in
challenging areas, challenging schools and with challenging pupils.
